Software Management is preventing Patch Mangement

  • We tried to migrate to Software Management module (KSM) last year when it was debuted.  We started with a few clients, after we realized that KSM was not working, we went back to Patch Managment (KPM).  We were just offboarding a client and discovered (from the new IT service company, how embarrassing) that no patches have been done since the attempted migration.  Looking at Patch Status we never had anything showing up in Missing Approved or Failed Patches in our monthly checks even after manually running a Patch Scan.  We were not keeping track of the number of installed patches and if it was going up or not.  I was wondering if anybody else has encountered this?
