  • For keyfinder you can add a cfg file from their site that will grab more keys.

  • Do you happen to know if it will find Adobe CS 3?

Want Kaseya to inventory these in our own database, just as we've detected other applications? Let me know.

    Ben,

And me to the list of people who think that would be a great idea.

    Nope. Sad
I havent found a reliable tool that could pull the license keys for CS3 and CS4 because those versions store their license keys in a database file instead of a normal file or registry.

Have you contacted Adobe? They are going to need to support this.

I'll put it together. It wont be terribly difficult, I've dissected how our SW license audit works and I just need to parse the license results from the above tool.

  • Not sure if I am late to the party, but I wanted to throw a vote in for this. It would be great to pull that on a report.

  • +1 more, and if I may add another request, for Office installations find out what type of key it is, MLK or retail, VLK? I don't know how to do this anyway.

Just one of those things I pray for right before I go to bed at night. Stick out tongue

  • @kroberts210: Although not implemented (it would be nice) here is a script by Benjamin.Lavalley@kaseya.com that will do just that. I've since run in on all clients and have made it part of my initial audits.

    Hope this helps.

  • Am I crazy or did this get deployed? All of a sudden I have all the license keys I could need right in SW Licenses via the Audit Tab.

  • You're crazy!

Sorry couldn't resist... The SW Licenses has always been there although what it picks up is limited. I started this thread so because I had found a way to pull more keys, and so had others so we began to share... now it's a feature request I suppose.
