If you are seeing issues with applications when you are using the network protection driver, there are several reasons.

The network protection driver sits on the WinSock Stack and monitors all network traffic. This procedure will work faultlessly as long as other windows applications act in the correct way. Some applications such as Pegasus mail try to avoid using the windows networking and use their own propriety network stack.

If these applications try to do this the network protection driver will behave strangely, either denying the traffic completely, causing slowdown or other strange side effects. This behaviour is not only seen by the kaseya network driver, but by any network monitoring tool that uses a WinSock LSP to monitor network behaviour.

The solution is either to check with the manufacturer - Pegasus have released a WinSock friendly update to their network driver - or to disable the Kaseya Network driver.
