servers hanging/freezing

  • Anyone experienced any servers hanging/freezing lately? We had at least 10 servers this weekend that wouldn't respond to anything. Even though ping worked, rdp, vnc, kaseya agent, everything else was down. Keyboards/mice not even working. All that was left was a hard reset. Rebooted again, same issue. Stuck. We removed AVG, reinstalled through VSA and the problems dissapeared.

    Maybe legacy AVG files that corrupted the new update from last week?

  • AVG just released a program update that they believe will address this.

  • Do we have to take any action to get the update, or is this pushed automatically by AVG/KES?
