Revert back to AVG 8.5

  • HI all,

    We have been deploying AVG 9 as part of KES 2.1, however we have a client who uses a Citrix Access Gateway but the CAG will not work with AVG 9 and as such I am looking to revert back to 8.5 for this client.

    Is there anyway I can uninstall 9.0 and reinstall 8.5.

    Just checking... by any chance did you deploy Web Shield. I recall a post from a few months ago where that broke something with Citrix, but Citrix worked when KEs was re-deployed without Web Shield.

  • According to AVG, properly configured AVG9 should work with CAG.

  • The CAg in question does not work - they have endpoint protection and it does not detect AVG 9 and as such fails to permit the user to login.

    We have rolled them back to AVG free for the moment.
