Definition out of date alert for offline machines

  • Once a day we get alerts for machines with out of date definitions. Some of these are machines that are offline for various reasons, but will eventually be powered on again to be used.

The problem is difficult to address when the machine is offline. Is it possible to eliminate KES alerts for offline machines, preferably machines that haven't been online in x days? When that machine goes online we would want the alert, of course.

I had another thread on this, but can't locate it now.

As of now, the Definition X Days out of Date alert does not pay attention to whether or not the machien is ONLIEN or OFFLINE. So for now, we have had to disable this alert - as we were geting flooded with bogus alerts for machiens that were offline.
