Cannot enable email scanning

  • I have a couple of dozen KES 2 machines where I cannot enable email after I click on Enable Email under Security/Security Status.

    What steps can I take to enable email scanning?

  • Was the email option checked at install time?

    You cna check this by going to the install tab and then clicking on the Green (Install Status) Tick. This will display the options that the particular device was installed with.

    If email scanner isnt ticked you will need to select it in the install options and then re-run the install process.
