Auto Extend Not Working
Posted by

I installed KES 2.1 (upgrade from 2.0) Wednesday evening. Yesterday, I set devices that expire in the next 30 days to auto extend. This morning I checked and found the devices that were set to expire today have not auto-renewed. The expires on field is red and noting it has past the time of day the license expired.
Anyone else running into this issue?

What is the actual expiration date?
I might be wrong, but I *think* that KES auto-extend will extend the license on the exact expiration date, not in advance.

Thanks for the post. They were the current day (not previous), but I think it's all set now. I checked today and it looks like it's working. Maybe there was a hotfix that downloaded post 2.1 install that fixed it.

The process for checking the licenses that need extending only runs daily (or maybe a bit more)...it should work if you give it a bit of time.
