Outlook Profile Corruption

  • Anyone experienced problems with the email scanning component of KES? I've had some issues with certain clients' mail profiles becoming corrupt. They can no longer authenticate with the Exchange server. This was happening pretty frequently with some machines (daily) while others would function for weeks before becoming corrupt. The machines are all running Outlook 2007 with an Exchange account (https proxy enabled) setup in the mail profile. In all the cases, a new mail profile with the exact same settings fixes the problem temporarily. I've found that excluding the Outlook data folder from scanning does not help. Doing this and disabling email scanning has stopped the problem so far. It's looking pretty likely that the email scanning component of KES is what is causing the profile corruption. Wondering if anyone else had similar problems.
