Scan did not complete - server problem or user intervention?

Currently I've got AVG scans set to run at night when they will be least likely to disturb anyone. Inevitably, the next day I had alerts that scans did not complete. I was under the impression if the machine is offline at the scheduled time, it will run when it's on the next morning. Now what I'm trying to figure out is if the scans are actually failing or is someone stopping the process? I've searched through the log files but I can't find anything that explains the failures.. either on our end or theirs. Could someone please point me in the right direction for answers? Thanks!

  • We don't really have any feedback on "why" the scan didn't finish.  Machine shutdown and user cancelled are the two most common causes.

  • Thanks.. I had suspected as much since it's the same groups. They have been duly admonished.
