With K6 we were surprised to see in the Live Connect that calls up from double clicking the K Icon on the end point machine the ability to manually run a backup ... this was a pure GIFT from the IT Gods that Be ... UNTIL ... it stopped working a few days ago on one unit in particular ...

This same unit can not perform ANY TYPE of backup now ....

The owner of this box wanted complete control over when the backups happened, so we setup this method...He was happy ... All he had to do was bring in his external drive and connect it when he wanted to do a backup, then hit the button on the Live Connect screen and wait 15 mins or so for the email to hit his inbox that said backup succeeded and he was a very happy camper.

Then it stopped working, we couldn't force from our live connect, or his live connect screen, nor from the BUDR interface could we force a 1 time or even a scheduled backup any more ... we figured just reinstall Acronis via the K GUI and it would be alright - NOPE - still doesn't work ...

We've opened a ticket w/ Kaseya on this but we all know how long that takes and how well they actually communicate to get these problems solved lately as well ... so we are hoping that someone here trolling the boards has seen this or has some ideas for where to look or what to do to get this working again hopefully ...
