Installing SecureZone with a utility partition pre-existing

  • Hey all,

I am noticing that if you install the secure zone on a PC with a preloaded utility partition that it will cause issues. Once i removed this partition, and reinstalled secure zone it gave me the option to do F11 on boot.

I still cant get the autorecovery to work - i just get the followin after booting to Acronis recovery (either by F11 or CD)

ACPI Breakpoint: Executed AML Breakpoint opcode
    Loading, please wait...
    Patching f11.cfg...
    Loading xml...
    Initializing the network...
    Downloading the script...
    Analyzing the script...
    Executing xml script...
    Operation is completed with errors

    SYSTEM REBOOTS

This process takes about 3 minutes, obviously does not restore any images.

    Any one else see this?

  • I havent seen this exactly but I know that SecureZone will overwrite 3rd party boot loaders like Grub for example.
