Hi -

I'd like to speed up a restore process and I want to know what my best route is. I ran a full backup and have been running incrementals the last two days. Currently I'm restoring the full into a VM. On Monday, I'd like to restore all of the latest changes to the VM so that I can go live with this new VM on Tuesday.

Should I,

A. Restore from my last incremental, or
B. Schedule a Last Differential?

I am looking for the quickest recovery time possible and also achieve so by doing minimal work.

If I have been doing incrementals since the last full and I run a last differential, my question is, "Will the Last Differential backup be all of the changed data since the last full, or will the last differential contain data only since the last incremental?"

Thanks in advance!
