I would like to know if anybody is using Kaseya to work with other Backup softwares.
Do the Kaseya users have to install Acronis ABR10 on their pcs / servers for best performance?
What if they do not wish to use Acronis?
We use Kaseya to deploy EMC Avamar backup clients but management is done trough Avamar administration console. Theres also Backup Exec addon module to Kaseya which we haven't tested yet since its not yet compatible with 6.3
Greetings all. We just announced the latest version of the Backup Exec Management Plug-in for Kaseya You can download it here: http://ow.ly/kns1I
Hi @ashinspiro,No you do not have to install Acronis. The Acronis engine is integrated as a part of the optional Kaseya Backup (KBU) product. Being optional, you decide if/when you want to use it on any given end point. Kaseya also offers 2 other 'Kaseya grown' backup integrations/products - KSBR and KDB, you'll find information on all of them here: http://kweb.kaseya.com/features/backup-recoveryKaseya also offers out-of-the-box monitoring of most major backup products as well as our 3rd Party program, where other companies have built modules that integrate their backup products with Kaseya, for example; Symantec, Heroware, Intronis, Datto etc. - these modules are usually free and can be downloaded and are supported by that given company. So as you can see there are lots of options to fit every budget and need.Ray BarberKaseya
