Local NAS Question

This question is not answered

I'm noticing at my one client I have for testing cloud backup direct backup to cloud is very slow. I want to backup to local storage and then replicate that to the cloud backup. My question is for small clients what are you using for local storage? I don't want a cheap NAS with slow disks but I don't want a $10,000 NAS for a client with less than a TB of data to backup. What are some of you using for local storage and then replicating to Kaseya cloud backup?

  • You can pretty much use anything. We've used an USB hard drive plugged into a different computer in one site that had no NAS. But for the most part, we use QNAP NAS devices. Synology works fine too but we typically just stick with one brand.
