We are delving into the Project module and noted that we would like the technician to be notified via email when a new Task has been assigned to them. Am I correct in stating that this is not a functionality? If so, has anyone figured out a workaround? I noted we may be able to send emails when service calls are assigned.

Take a look at the workflows. I haven't done anything related to projects here, and at first glance I don't see anything referencing projects (though projects technically consist of tickets, so...).
Thanks for the response. I've looked in the workflows, nothing that I can see about projects. Pretty sure it's only for Service Desk.
