    Agent Update 9.4.0.8

The patches below require updating the agent version to 9.4.0.8 for Windows, Mac and Linux agents.

    Virtual System Administrator™

    • This fix ensures the 9.4 Live Connect > Command Shell will work with a 9.3 agent that hasn't been upgraded yet. (NINEFOURPT-313/EES-182)
    • Fixed an issue which could cause the Endpoint to terminate if a task was canceled while the task package was still being downloaded. (NINEFOURPT-335/EES-264)
    • This fix prevents Kaseya Endpoint Services from shutting down if an invalid cron statement is encountered. (NINEFOURPT-324/EES-1017)

Critical Issues For Customers To Patch Immediately

    Virtual System Administrator™

    • Fixed an issue that prevented policies from taking effect after assigning a machine to a different machine group. (NINEFOURPT-333/SDP-2069)
    • Added support for either HTTP or HTTPS being required or optional when running Live Connect on Demand, based on how the web server is configured. (NINEFOURPT-327/SDP-2064)
    • Fixed a timeout issue generating the executive summary report when the uptime log contained a large volume of agent data. (NINEFOURPT-341/APPF-2304)
    • In report schedule/run now dialogs, the 'no view selected' option is now at the top of the list of the view combo box. (NINEFOURPT-343/APPF-2390)

    Antivirus

    • Fixed an issue with machines not installed with Antivirus attempting to configure themselves as Antivirus > LAN Updater clients. (NINEFOURPT-346/EXT-2676)
    • Fixed an issue with inaccurate database definition dates displaying on the Antivirus > Dashboard page. (NINEFOURPT-337/EXT-2378)

    Cloud Backup

    • Two new hypervisor install options were added:
      • Added an option to install an Acronis client on a VMware VM machine. The VM acts as a VMware relay to the VMware host, and supports the 'Run as VM' feature on the Acronis Cloud Backup website. The 'Run as VM' feature enables an existing backup to be restored as a new VM on the VMware host machine. This feature requires VMware ESX 6.5 or later.
      • Added an option to install an Acronis client on a Hyper-V host machine, to support the 'Run as VM' feature on the Acronis Cloud Backup website. The 'Run as VM' feature enables an existing backup to be restored as a new VM on the Hyper-V host machine. (NINEFOURPT-355/EXT-2652)
    • Added Cloud Backup support for the following applications:
      • SQL Server
      • Exchange
      • Active Directory (NINEFOURPT-345/EXT-2439)
    • Fixed a license count issue for VMs in Cloud Backup. (NINEFOURPT-330/EXT-2707)

Non-Critical Issues For Customers To Patch When Convenient

    Virtual System Administrator™

    • Fixed an issue with scrolling multiple pages using the Live Connect > Events page. (NINEFOURPT-336/AF-2536)
    • Fixed an issue with agent signing failing when a large number of rows exist in the scriptlog for a specific agent guid. (NINEFOURPT-342/APPF-2318)
