    9.4.0.15 Patch Release - 16 March 2017

Critical Issues For Customers To Patch Immediately

    Virtual System Administrator™

    • The license information in the notification bar and on the System > License Manager > License tab now shows the same data, limited by the admin's scope. Counts are provided for:
      • online and offline machine agents, both permanent and temporary
      • KNM assets
      • total licensed
      • never checked in (NINEFOURPT-300/APPF-418)

Known Issue: KNM assets counts are not shown in SaaS tenant partitions. This will be fixed in a later release.

    • Fixed an issue with the VSA SQL backup retention policy not being honored, causing servers to run out of storage. (NINEFOURPT-268/APPF-2166)
    • Fixed an issue that prevented Live Connect > Chat from working if a custom 'Contact Administrator' URL was specified using the Agent > Configure Agents > Agent Menu page. (NINEFOURPT-309/AF-2403)
    • Fixed an issue with stuck mode keys--for example the shift, control, and cap lock keys--during Kaseya Remote Control sessions. (NINEFOURPT-331/EES-1056)

    Cloud Backup

    • A new Acronis Alert History page has been added. The retention period is specified using a new Settings > Global Settings > 'Acronis Alert History Retention Period' option. The default is 120 days. (NINEFOURPT-242/KCB-402)\

    Policy Management

    • The Patch Reboot Action schedule in Policy Management now respects the time zone offset. (NINEFOURPT-290/SDP-2070)

    Virtual System Administrator™

    • Installing an IIS WebDAV module no longer interferes with PUT and DELETE methods in an on premises ARS. (NINEFOURPT-306/SDP-1630)

    Anti-Malware (Classic)

    • Fixed an issue with the Anti-Malware (Classic) log files not showing entries for manual scans. (NINEFOURPT-96/PROTECT-955)

    Agent Update 9.4.0.7

The linked patches below require updating the agent version to 9.4.0.7 for Windows, Mac and Linux agents.

    Virtual System Administrator™

    • Starting and stopping the Recording... button multiple times during a KRC session now creates individual recordings for each segment of the session you record. (NINEFOURPT-329/EES-1117)
    • Fixed a rare problem which could cause the endpoint to terminate during a Live Connect session. (NINEFOURPT-297/EES-259)
    • Live Connect, Antivirus and Anti-Malware did not work if outbound ports 80 and/or 443 were blocked on the agent. This has been fixed. (NINEFOURPT-338/EES-1136)

  • Do you happen to know if ticket 171316 is resolved in this patch? NINEFOURPT-290/SDP-2070 looks possibly related.

  •

I believe it is related, from what I am seeing, but I don't believe it will fix the exact condition your support ticket is referencing.

I will look a bit more into it as they are very very similar but not exactly the same conditions and I could be mistaken.

  • We installed patch 15 without error, but:

A new Acronis Alert History page has been added. The retention period is specified using a new Settings > Global Settings > 'Acronis Alert History Retention Period' option. The default is 120 days. (NINEFOURPT-242/KCB-402)\

This new page doesn't exist for us. There is no settings -> global settings.

  • OK Quick update, you have to do a reapply schema to get the global options tap.....the patch doesn't do this automatically.

Having manually run a reapply schema, the global tab has now appeared.

  •

I can confirm, the two issues you are referencing are not exactly related so the fix in SDP-2070 will not resolve the issue you are looking for.
