    Critical Issues For Customers To Patch Immediately

    Virtual System Administrator™

    • Added a Set Credentials page to the Agent > Templates folder. The new page sets credentials for agent template accounts only. (PT-119/SDP-1264)
    • Fixed an issue with the latest audit not identifying installed applications correctly. (PT-134/DISMON-1151)
    • Fixed an issue with the System > Import Center not automatically approving imported agent procedures for Master and System users. Fixed an issue with Import Center attempting to create the same folder twice in the agent procedures tree. (PT-148/SDP-1329)
    • Fixed an issue filtering role and scope lists by the user's assigned roles and scopes. (PT-174/API-430)
    • Fixed an issue with Live Connect not working after a patch upgrade: ConnectedWithError - ChannelServerOffline. (PT-158/END-1824)
    • Eliminating an exception related to processing alerts has resolved an issue with the PluginHost stalling. (PT-162/APPF-326)
    • Updated the API for Live Connect to display the correct Patch Scan Recurrence interval and Windows Automatic Update status. (PT-96/API-360)
    • Fixed an issue with parsing date values in the BiosReleaseDate field of the GET /assetmgmt/audit/{agentId}/summary REST API. (PT-95/API-383)
    • A security vulnerability was removed. (PT-182/AF-2039)
    • A security vulnerability was removed. (PT-175/APPF-1817)
    • A security vulnerability was removed. (PT-179/APPF-1742)


    • Fixed an issue with a duplicate agent displaying in the Antivirus module after a repair, install or upgrade when running the VSA using SQL Server 2008. (PT-181/ATTWO-1972)
    • Fixed an issue where updating global exclusions caused the system to attempt to update every agent, regardless of Antivirus provisioning or install status. (PT-160/ATTWO-1897)
    • Fixed an issue with showing correct counts for Antivirus-protected workstations and servers when using the machine filter while running the Executive Summary report. (PT-186/ATTWO-1883)
    • Fixed an issue that prevented scheduling the Antivirus > Get Status command on a large number of agent machines simultaneously. (PT-165/ATTWO-1891)
    • Fixed an issue that allowed a non-master user to select and assign a private profile created by another VSA user that should have been hidden. (PT-141/ATTWO-1876)

    Antivirus and Anti-Malware

    • For on-premise only, all Kaseya-related folders and Kaseya agent-related applications have been added to the Global Exclusions of the Antivirus and Anti-Malware module. SaaS environments will be updated in a later release. (PT-187/ATTWO-1902)

    Antivirus (Classic)

    • Fixed the count displayed for Antivirus (Classic) 'Objects Scanned' in the Executive Summary report. (PT-191/PROTECT-916)

    Antivirus (Classic) and Anti-Malware (Classic)

    • The Executive Summary report no longer shows 'N/A' in the following rows if the report's scope includes machines installed with Antivirus (Classic) and Anti-Malware (Classic). (PT-192/PROTECT-889)
      • Classic Antivirus Score 
      • Classic Anti-Malware Score


    • Fixed an 'index out of range' error that could display when deleting Discovered Devices. (PT-88/DISMON-1039)

    Network Monitor

    • Fixed an issue with the Network Monitor system log showing extraneous data. (PT-170/KNM-1036)

    Software Deployment and Update

    • Fixed an issue with the Software Deployment > Windows Installer > Uninstall String field data not being saved. (PT-171/SDP-1395)

    System Backup and Recovery

    • Fixed an issue that allowed the System Backup and Recovery module to display in the navigation panel even if it wasn't licensed. (PT-163/DEVOPS-344)

    Non-Critical Issues For Customers To Patch When Convenient

    Antivirus (Classic)

    • Fixed an Antivirus (Classic) issue that caused status details—like client version, and Antivirus definition date—to be missing in the Antivirus user interface, after running the Connect Kaseya Antivirus install option. (PT-176/PROTECT-905)

  • If you have patched to could you please let us (the community) know what your experience is?  

  • Applied the patch last night, it took less than 20 minutes total including the Schema rebuild, and thus far I'm having no *new* issues

  • Hello Everyone,

    Our experience is that after patch KRC cannot connect any longer in below

    conditions (for us at least).

    You open KRC directly from the Agent icon (not via live connect).

    The Agent connectivity is over WAN.

    Opening KRC via KLC works normally instead.

  • Applied to our test server and no issues reported.

  • No noticed issues yet, so far so good. I skipped .18 because I read about KAV licensing issues.

  • Patch .20 resolves the issues with KRC issues introduced with .19
