Uninstalling VMWare Player

This question is not answered

We had an accident with the 3rd party software system and ended up with VMWare Player installed on a bunch of machines.  The uninstall string is "C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Player\Uninstaller\uninstall.exe" -x -S "C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Player\Uninstaller\", this doesn't work, various low hanging fruit variations on this do not work, and Google is giving me no love.  So any thoughts? Thanks.

  • I think the uninstall string / process should be: VMware-player-x.x.x-xxxxxx.exe /s /v"/qn REMOVE=ALL"

  • This was through the 3rd party installer system so we don't have the original installation exe, do you think this would work downloading one of the new installers?
