Hi all, I'm new in Kaseya world and I'm confused about the remote control on old windows 2000 OS.I know that KLC is not supported in windows 2000 but what about K-VNC?In help file I see:" K-VNC - The enterprise version of VNC. This is the only remote control option available for Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008. It can also be used on Windows 2000, XP, 2003, and Macintosh OS X 10.4.x (Tiger) and 10.3.x (Panther). The VSA automatically installs the K-VNC server on selected machines the first time you remote control that machine."So I think it's supported, but why the "Desktop Access" function is disabled in all my old windows 2000 server? Thanks for your help.
KVNC will work but not in the KLC window, you'll need to access it via Remote Control from the main K2 window.
You'll need to get someone to enable remote control. Then using Remote Control set the control method to VNC. K-VNC is for Vista onwards.
Ok, it works. Now it's clear.
I will try both k-vnc and vnc and I will configure them from Remote Control main window.
