We have one Windows 7 client on which the patch scan seems to work, but then the installations hang at "Pending." This is a behavior which only seems to have cropped up in the past few months. This is the only client, out of around 100, which is acting this way. It is, and has been, the workstation of a user in a remote location.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled the Kaseya agent (220.127.116.11) earlier today, and yet the behavior persists. One odd thing to note is that in the WindowsUpdate.log on the client, every two to three seconds the following three lines repeat:
2015-09-23 12:42:08:703 1224 322c Report CWERReporter finishing event handling. (00000000)2015-09-23 12:42:08:951 1224 15ec AU Successfully wrote event for AU health state:02015-09-23 12:42:10:953 1224 15ec AU Successfully wrote event for AU health state:0
In fact, the log is almost 2MB and yet only goes back to yesterday, as it is full of these lines—and little else.
I have googled these lines, and find very little concrete analysis of what they actually mean. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
If you haven't already, open a ticket and at least get the ball rolling on kaseya's end. Aside from that, i noticed that you said that your agent version is 18.104.22.168. I am currently running R9.0 and have agents with version 22.214.171.124. It is possible that you may need to update the patching level on your VSA. The next thing I would do is try the steps in this KB Article: kaseya.zendesk.com/.../33243607-Patch-Test-Remains-in-Pending-Status
