Patch Status Stuck at Pending

Cannot get a success on test results in patch management. I have tried credentials of a local user account, and domain admin account. The test passes in the agent/set credential module. In the patch management module I have file source set to pulled from file server using UNC path. I verified the path and permissions, even gave the account full control to the share and security. In patch status no matter what account I use the test results are stuck in pending. I have canceled and reentered a domain admin account that test passed in the set credential module. The agent procedure log shows the credential test as success. Anyone have ideas as to what may be happening or suggestions to try
