Question about Patch Mgmt Reboot Action

  • After a patch is installed, the "If user logged in ask to reboot every N minutes until the reboot occurs" Reboot Action will prompt the user to reboot every N minutes until they reboot.

But how does the "If user logged in ask permission. Do nothing if no response in N minutes. Reboot if user not logged in" Reboot Action differ? Does it ask one time? What happens if the user clicks "Continue working"?

  • I did a quick experiment and it seems that if the "If user logged in ask permission. Do nothing if no response in N minutes. Reboot if user not logged in" Reboot Action is set, the prompt only pops up one time if the user clicks "Continue working". Can anyone confirm this behaviour?
