This question is not answered

Could some one Tell me is there any way for Kasyea to ignore  Errors coming in from Source: Microsoft-Windows-Perflib without the need of disabling performance counters on windows 2012

Kaseya Alarmy Summary is getting flooded by Perfromance Errors.

  • Do you have an example of the alert sent and where you are monitoring this from? There are several ways to ignore and it would depend on how your monitor is set.

  • Log: Application

    Type: Error

    Event: 1008

    Alert Time: 2015-01-06 10:49:41Z

Event Time: 10:48:57 AM 6-Jan-2015 UTC

    Source: Microsoft-Windows-Perflib

    Category: None

    Username: N/A

    Computer: ComputerName.Domain.local

Description: The Open Procedure for service "BITS" in DLL "C:\Windows\System32\bitsperf.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.

  • monitoring  is by the Kaseya Agent..

    if that helps

  • You've got two options, firstly use Monitor > Agent Monitoring > Event Log alerts and setup an exclusion for that alert.

Alternatively use the evLogBlkListEx.xml file to exclude the event log entries that you don't want your server to collect.  It's a bit of a pain to setup but totally worth doing if your server is gathering a load of unwanted alerts.
