I know to go to Monitoring Module, Agent Monitoring > Alerts > New Agent Installed (from the drop down box) to set up an e-mail. But how do I get the IP address or MAC in the e-mail?
Run a script instead of using the built-in email action. In your script, use the Send Email step with a subject like: "Agent checked in for the first time on #vMachine.Machine_GroupID#"
In the body of the email you can add stuff like:
IP Address: #vMachine.IpAddress#
MAC Address: #vMachine.MacAddr#
...and whatever else you want in there.
Do those variables not work if you just edit the default email for a new agent check-in?
