I would like to create an agent procedure that runs when an event ID is detected that gets the description of an event ID, writes it to a txt file then takes that info and sends it in an email.

That sounds like an event log alert. Look under Monitoring - Agent Monitoring - Event Log Alerts
Note - one oddity about Kaseya is that these alerts won't work if you have partial event logs being captured under Agent - Agents - Event log settings....any entries there need to be everything (EWISFCV) or nothing

I dont want to do it that way because we have this set up for other events and they all just look the same at a glance. I wanted to be able to have a custom subject of the email
