Start a script

  • Is there a way to automatically run a script if a ticket is created and one of the fields contains certain elements.....such as the category being virus scan?

  • Not with the Basic ticketing system that comes with K 5.1 / K2v6. However, this is definately possible with Service Desk, which I believe is slated for release at the same time, or shortly after K2v6. Unfortunatly Service Desk is an Add-On module and from what I've been told a rather pricey one at that

  • Maybe I don't understand what you're asking exactly, but it sounds like what you want to do is set up Alert sets that fire off scripts for certain events. When that happens, you can also send an email...
