Mbam Log Files

  • We have the paid tech license of mbam that will allow fully automated scans. What I want this script to do is at the end email us or put the log file into a shared folder on the server with the name of the computer that was scanned as the folder or in the email. This is what I have so far but not sure what to do next.

    IF Test File
    Parameter 1 : C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (tech)\mbam.exe
    Exists :
    THEN
    Execute File
    Parameter 1 : C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (tech)\mbam.exe
    Parameter 2 : /runupdate
    Parameter 3 : 1
    OS Type : 0
    Execute Shell Command
    Parameter 1 : del "C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\*.txt"
    Parameter 2 : 0
    OS Type : 0
    Execute File
    Parameter 1 : C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (tech)\mbam.exe
    Parameter 2 : /fullauto
    Parameter 3 : 1
    OS Type : 0
    Execute Script

I do know I can run this command to put the log file onto the server but there is no naming that I can differentiate what computer the log file came from!

    IF User Is Logged In
    Parameter 1 :
    THEN
    Execute Shell Command
    Parameter 1 : xcopy "%appdata%\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\*" \\servername\logs\ /e /y /q
    Parameter 2 : 0
    OS Type : 0
    ELSE

  • why not "md \\server\logs\%computername%" before your xcopy?

    or \\server\logs\%computername%.%username%

We received a quote at one time, but never went through and purchased the license. This was two months ago, but a full license was just under $5 each.

So how would that look in my scripts?

  • gctech,

As of version 1.38, you can redirect your logs to a path of your choice. Why don't you do a get variable > file content of the file and then do a send mail and in the body do #variablename#.

Are there more license options? I don't want to pay a montly fee. Quite expensive if you watch what Antivirus with Kaseya costs. Can't kaseya make a deal?
