Check Process Running

  • Task Manager.txt
I have been working more and more with Self Healing and this came up while working with Workstation monitor sets. For Example it would be nice to know when a workstation is highly utilized for an extended period of time (like Processor). In the Monitor set I set the CPU to alert me when it reached above 85% utilized for 2 hours. My thought was that should not be the case unless your rendering a 3D movie or something in a studio type application. But the alerts generated were annoying because I could not tell what application was causing the alert. So I created this little script to run when the Workstation Monitor Set alerted.

It runs the Kaseya Task manager on the workstation and emails you the results. Hopefully it will show you the process that is causing the High CPU.
