  • Just do an export to a file using the reg command

    reg export HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS C:\export.txt

This will place all the values of all the subkeys in the file then either get the content and email to you or bring the txt file to the server for viewing.

    God Bless,

    Marty

  • I can get it to create the file, but when I try and capture the contents of the file to a variable, it is unreadable.

    Any thoughts?

  • I would first verify that the file being created has data in it, then I would specify the extension as a text file.

    Let me know.

  • yeah, I did. For some reason, however, Kaseya seems to think it should be a .bin file.

When I did a get file and tried to download it, it comes through as export.txt.bin. I have to rename it.

    Strange.
