Does anyone have a SQL Defrag script?

  • I have a client who has several SQL2k databases and they are COMPLETELY RED. Does anyone have a SQL Defrag Script? Thank you! -Eric.

  • Here is an article explaining defragment of DBS from microsoft and includes the commands to do it within sql.. but since you have sql servers, your dba's should already have this in their management plans

  • Kaseya has a built in defrag for its internal database, but not a generic one you can apply to something else

    I can send you our stored procedures but you will have to change the logical db names to your own logical db file names

    But a stored procedure must be ran from within sql it is not possible to run it from the Kaseya scripting engine
