Need to be able to set Adobe Reader not to save recent files/folders.I found the key:
HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral\iMaxMRUCntToBeStored =0
So that works for files. But, I can't find how to turn recent opened from folder off:
I know they are stored here:
HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral\cRecentFolders, but if I delete them, they repopulate, how an I turn off like I did for files?
cshockley , you would have to have a registry fix like Adobe did for the files. The only solution would be to run a script every day to wipe them out. Never done this, but in theory you could run a process monitor for acrobate.exe and/or Reader.exe and monitor for a down transition, and they kick off the script to wipe out the reg key? To be honest, I have never tried to apply a process monitor on a process that might not be running, so not sure what the impact would be?
You could put a feature request in for Adobe - www.adobe.com/.../wishform.html and see if they would add the key for you someday!
