I have a Linux server that processes transactions, then sends data to a Windows server to process subsequent transactions. I'm looking for a way to monitor the Linux transactions to make sure that subsequent transactions occur on the Windows server within a given time window, then alert (or trigger an agent procedure) if the corresponding WIndows transaction doesn't occur within X amount of time after the Linux tranaction occurs... I know its a bit vague, but any thoughts on this?
This can probably be done by the general scenario you are describing -- however we would probably need a bit more details on what type of transactions are occurring on both the linux and windows OS environment.
Would it be possible to share with us what specific transactions are being performed?
