VNC and CentOS

This question is not answered

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had any success with getting the 'Remote Control' function of Kaseya working with CentOS.  I have the Kaseya agent installed on the CentOS machine, and the Kaseya FTP and SSH functions work fine but I would love to get the vnc function working as well.  Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

  • I have a Centos 6 server that is running an agent. So far I can only Vnc into it. Looking at deploying a second agent. I downloaded the Linux agent and installed it from cmd prompt and that was that. Prior to installation of the agent I had activated Vnc on the machine.

From my conversations with Kaseya so far this is not a supported configuration.

I'm currently looking to add Snmp functionality on the machine so that I can track it on my Executive report. This is possible in theory but monitoring will happen via another machine on the network.
