Has anyone created a script that will write the date to somewhere (file, registry, etc) and if it's already been written, check the date in an if statement?
Here is what I would like to do: trigger an event log alert, if it is the first time it's triggered, write the date. If it's not the first time, compare the date. If it has been less than 7 days, send an email.
Because Kaseya counters reset each time a machine is rebooted, I cannot rely on the function to set an alert for when an event is seen more than once within seven days. I am trying to workaround this shortcoming.
Thanks in advance.
i believe it's not currently possible to compare dates using Kscript 21/08/2012 to 21/08/2011
but theres a work around for everything
Here is a SQL script to automatically Clear Overrides
