We are monitoring an application that is randomly shut down during a certain time range, let's say at night between 23:00 and 07:00. Alarms on this application being shutdown, during this period of time, is not of interest to us.
For all I know there isn't any way to exclude a specified time range from a monitor set, so that it won't create alarms during this period of time. Please correct me, and I should be happily wrong!
Considering the above; I'm wondering if there's a way to create an alarm from an agent procedure instead or if someone has a secure way of doing this with SQL views or directly against the ksubscribers database?
