Disable monitor set alarms by time of day?

We just upgraded to K2 and I had hoped that the new scheduling interface would allow us to have more flexibility in our monitoring. However, I still do not see an option to disable alarms for a given monitor set based on the time of day. Unless I am missing something, the only option we have is to suspend all alarms on the agent.
The reason I want to do this is that from 6PM to 7AM I do not care so see that a given server is running with high CPU or disk I/O. This is to be expected on some servers due to the nightly backup, defrag, patch management, etc. Since I am unable to turn off alarms on a performance based monitor set during "off hours", our system is flooded with alerts/emails all night long.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem in K2?
