I am trying to create a monitor set to monitor all process on my remote desktop services server the following is monitored:Processes must be monitored and raise a alarm when one of the processes grow beyond my limit of memory usage 512MB.Processes must be monitored and raise a alarm when one of the processes grow beyond my limit of CPU usage 25% on any of my processes.
I know how to do this PER process but not how to do this with one counter threshold for all of the processes that are running on the machine. Is it even possible without making a counter for all processes individually.
(I am not a raised in an English speaking country so please bare with me on my bad grammar and sometimes hideous spelling, thank you.)
Kind regards,Jack D
You should be able to use the "_Total" instance on "Private bytes" to get the total used memory of all the processes in the machine. note that its in bytes so you have to divide with 1 048 576 to get it to MB
