Monitor Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery 2010

This question is not answered

Hello,

what are others using to check backups made by Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery 2010?

All Events are written using ID 100 type informational, so that's not usable i guess.

Regards,

Jens

  • Looks like the site link works (again) and they have PDF'd the codes.  A little rediculous that they put successes in error codes. :)  Maybe the way to monitor this, is if the event doesn't write any of these in a 24 hour period, or whatever schedule.

6C8F1F7C The file and folder backup job completed successfully.

6C8F1F7D A scheduled base recovery point of the drive was created successfully.

6C8F1F7E A scheduled incremental recovery point of the drive was created successfully.

6C8F1F7F A scheduled independent recovery point of the drive was created successfully.
