Notes for Event Sets - current method is confusing

Is anyone else having this trouble?
When we go to create or edit a set of Events for alert monitoring on event logs, we have trouble remembering what each event ID is for. We don't want to use the description filter because that actually filters on that text and we'd hate to miss an alert because we have a typo in that field. But we do feel that we need a notes/description field for each row so we can easily remember why we created the event entry.
Anyone else have this issue? Or is there a workaround to manage event sets more easily?

I would be happy to have this feature. I've often had to go edit a set only to find myself staring a wall of event IDs that I don't know the meaning for.

Well, that explains what the event
is
, but not why it was put in the event set ... I think having a note field for the events in an event set is a great idea; saves on time looking it up and then still having to figure it out.
