SNMP LANwatch does not find any devices

  • Problem: -


    • Running an SNMP LANwatch does not find any devices
    • Abother agent on the same subnet DOES find devices
    Cause: -


    • \usr subdirectory does not exist
    Resolution: -


    1. Cancel LANwatch and remove community string for agent
    2. Set community string again and schedule new LANwatch
    3. Check for existance of \usr (there should be 2 subdirectories - bin and share)
    4. Check that devices have been found
