Agent online; icon not always visible

  • I didn't see this topic previously addressed.

    I have one client who we are able to connect to normally. However, he is not always able to see his agent. It can be restored by logging off and back on, but this is having to be done every couple of days. This can't be normal.

  • XP might be hiding unused iconsin the system tray on you. If the taskbar properties are set to "Hide inactive icons" and theagent icon has not been touched in a while, the icon will seem to disappear.

    We are changing this behavior in the next release so that the agent will occasionally "touch" the icon programmatically. This will prevent the icon from disappearing.

    The option to hide inactive WAS checked. I'll bet this solves our issue.
