Does anyone know of a way to close a service desk ticket with a previous date?

We have some tickets that were kept open for tracking purposes. They now need to be closed. We would like to back date the closing date so that it does not appear that the tickets were open for the 6 months or so that they were. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

  • Ok, so I have located the ticket property id which is [$ClosedDateTime$] . Can anyone help me with changing the value of this property? I was thinking of using a procedure that says if TicketId contains (range of certin tickets) then set [$ClosedDateTime$] as.....
