I have attempted to install the agent on to a few Windows 7 computer without success. I have disabled the UAC on the PC as suggested and then attempted to install manually the agent to the pc again. As soon as I start the install i get this message " The installation package containing the Agent failed to run." Has anyone found a solution to this issue?
We just ran into this ourselves. The problem for us, was a Software Restriction Policy applied thru Group Policy. We removed the restriction, and the Kaseya 6.3 agent installed perfectly.
I would also verify that there isn't a firewall on the workstation blocking either the agent install or agent communications.
