Removing Kaseya from the Start Menu

  • We have changed the icon to be one of our own as well as many of the other "kaseya" branded features; however, when the Kaseya agent installs, it is still in the Start>Program Files>Kaseya folder.

Is there a way to get rid of this? Maybe a script?

    Thanks, Dan

  • Take a look at the built in script 'Remove K Menu'

  • Take a look here to see how you an automate this so the Remove K Agent script is run as soon as the agent is installed:

  • That script seems to remove the sys tray icon too, I've changed that and am happy with the result and don't want to lose it, anyone modified the script just to just get rid of the start menu listing?

  • If you take a look at the sccript it doesn't have anything to do with removing the system tray icon. The script just deletes the shortcut from the program menu, I can't see how this could affect the icon in the system tray?
