Agent status Alert on server

  • I was wondering what are some of you doing out there for agent status alerts. Meaning do you send an alert after 30 mins ,10 mins ,5 mins 3 mins of being offline?

  • Hi Sean:

Part of it could depend on your SLA for the machine. Servers, you may want to know immediately, 5 or 10 minutes. Key workstations, 10 minutes. It really depends on what service you are providing.

I have mine set to 10 minutes.

  • Every server we have is critical so we want to know right away. I have set all of our servers for 1 minute, the minimum, and the agent (now Client) reports in every 15 seconds. We find this to work the best.

  • Whenever I set the "agent has not checked in for x minutes" setting and hit apply, it always resets to 0 minutes after I close and open the page again.

    Has anyone else seen this?

  • Nevermind, in the process of migrating kaseya to a new server, the problem seems to have fixed itself
