I've seen a few threads discussing the agent icon on Windows 7 but they did not provide a definitive answer on icon visibility. We are experimenting with providing Live Connect to our clients. This works well when the icon is visible (Windows XP/Vista). The user would either double click the icon or right click/select. There is a problem with Windows 7 since the user now has control over which icons are visible and by default the Kaseya icon is hidden. So, the Kaseya icon moving forward is sort of diminished in its effectiveness and purpose unless they implement overlays or notifications.

Does anyone have a work around with Windows 7 or is the Live Connect concept not worth it going forward?
