Mac Backup

  • Does anyone have recommendations on which backup software to use for macintosh?

    Have you looked into Time Machine?

    If that is not an option can recommend CrashPlan, works with both mac and windows.

    Or if you have the infrastructure for it, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager.

  • Mozy has a Mac client now for their desktop backup service. It seems OK for cases where you have an occasional Mac system but I haven't really tested it on a large number of systems. You could also check out Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper which do image-based backups.
