After installing the Kaseya agent on Windows XP Home and rebooting, the
windows desktop (explorer.exe) hangs while loading so that what we see
is only the Dell login wallpaper. No icons and no taskbar. Pressing F8
at startup and selecting Last Known Good Configuration allows the system
to boot normally without the agent loaded.

I emailed support (issue 15006) and was suggested to rename the following files:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\KaPFA.sys
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\KaseyaHA.sys

I renamed them but the issue remains.

Has anyone ever experienced this?
